Charles Tope, President, CEO & Keynote Speaker
The birth of Employnet began with Nova Management acquired by Charles Tope in 2017 to form Employnet to better align with his strategic vision of creating a preeminent staffing and workforce company. Charles built the company from six employees to over 15,000 and counting in 25 years.
When Charles isn’t cruising down the Pacific Coast in his ’42 WW2 Jeep honking to the waves, he is leading Employnet’s vision and strategy. What began as a passion for connecting talented people with great companies evolved into a mission to provide end-to-end workforce solutions for our clients to help accomplish their everyday global business initiatives.

Though lady luck is never by Charles’s side at the casinos, he fortunately stumbled upon his own forever lady luck and love, Kim, during one eventful night in Las Vegas. Without the support of his wife and his two boys, Maxwell and Hunter, Charles would undoubtedly still be chasing his dream of racing against Ricky Bobby of Talladega Nights. He holds a BA in History from Saint Mary’s College of California. Charles is also part of a large family as the youngest of 10 siblings. So you know he’s been beaten down so much by his older siblings that he is now impervious to any mishaps that may come his way. He is always surrounded by family and others, thus he has no choice to be “Always Putting People First”.
