Congratulations, Women in Leadership Scholarship Recipients

First Annual Women in Leadership Scholarship

Beginning in 2022, Employnet is awarding scholarships to two women each year who are committed to a career in staffing and have shown career growth potential. Through this scholarship, the goal is to support the recipients in making valuable industry connections, defining career goals, enhancing leadership skills, and gaining insight from staffing peers. The scholarship honors these individuals with free registration and travel to two major staffing events: THRIVE: Women in Leadership preconvention program on Oct. 24-25 and Staffing World, Oct. 25-27.

The Employnet Women in Leadership Scholarship is to bring visibility and recognition to the value of women leaders in the global staffing industry. Inspired by American Staffing Association’s women in leadership interest group, Employnet will provide education and support tools to recipients through attending the two ASA events. The goal is to create more gendered balanced and diverse leadership across the industry.

“At Employnet we believe in 'Always putting people first.' Our success as a company is because of our people. As a female leader, I wanted to provide a scholarship to recognize and empower women at Employnet. Our scholarship recipients will receive entry to ASA Staffing World and Thrive in Las Vegas. Investing and developing our next generation of female leaders in a forum where they can have fun and meet other inspiring women is how this scholarship can make a difference in their careers.”

Our 2022 Recipients

She has been named Employee of the Month twice during her time with Employnet, won Branch of the Year in 2021, and has previously been on the board for NCHRA. “I have been very lucky to have had many female mentors since I started at Employnet and to be able to be that for my staff and others in the company means a lot! We as women have to work very hard to make a name for ourselves, this recognition makes me feel proud of what I have accomplished and want to keep striving for more!"
